Ross Prairie Trail Ride
By Judy Cloninger
Sat., Nov. 10th, 12 members of the FFTA met at the Ross Prairie Trail
head for a trail ride. Thank you, Mike, for hosting this -- we
appreciate all you do for all the club members, both those with show
interest and those with trail ride interest. We rode the hilltop of
Utopia, then crossed the highway to check out the trail head at
Shangrila (took advantage of the potty and water for horses, a welcome
break). Returned on the north side of Utopia -- following a nice
break at the picnic table, returned to the trailers after about 3
hours of riding. The weather could not have been nicer. We had no
major incidents, all the horses and riders were on their best
behavior. Following a picnic lunch and lots of laughs, we each headed
home.
